Mainduties

Telecommunication carriers managers perform some or all of the followingduties:

Plan,organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a telecommunicationsestablishment, department or facility

Consultwith senior managers to establish policies concerned with the development,operation and maintenance of telecommunications services

Directand control telecommunications traffic volume and flow within assigned areas,through subordinate supervisors and technical staff

Analyzeand evaluate telecommunications installation, operation and maintenanceservices and make recommendations for improvement

Ensurecompliance with telecommunications regulations and directives of governmentregulatory agencies

Liaisewith representatives of related or connecting companies to resolve jointtelecommunications problems and ensure efficient telecommunications systemoperations

Recruitpersonnel and oversee their training.
