如果职业在新南威尔士的489职业清单上，则该州有7个偏远地区接受489担保申请。如果有偏远地区同意担保申请人，则申请人可以在原来的EOI 分数基础上，增加10分。当然，489签证是临时签证，需要满足一定居住条件后方可转为永久居民签证。

--Far South Coast--
负责机构是RegionalDevelopment Australia – Far South Coast (RDA FSC)

邮件或纸质邮寄方式均可，处理期为3个月，处理费不退。需要提供EOI number
要求：--newnewland
1.45周岁以下
2.英语要求至少四个6雅思或等同水平（其中如上增加的ICT职业需要雅思四个7或等同水平，语言成绩2年内有效。
3.要完成职业评估
4.评分加上担保的10分要达到至少60分；
5.健康和无犯罪（新新源移民）；

ICT的几个担保职业需要雅思四个7或等同语言水平+2年工作经验。
135111 Chief Information Officer（该职业工作经验要求in Austrlia）;
261112 Systems Analyst;

263111 Computer Network and SystemsEngineer
获签后知会偏远地区办公室，会发进一步定居信息给申请人。
NOTE: 2018年8月21日官方宣布接收量太多，该区停止接收。
--Southern Inland--
先通过该偏远地区的online EOI系统提交简单资料（推荐信、职业评估、语言、护照扫描件），approved后再提交完整申请资料（都是很通用的资料及表格，纸质邮寄方式）。

处理周期为6weeks（新新源移民）。
备注：You must relocate tothe Southern Inland Region within 90 days of your Visa being granted by theDepartment of Immigration and Border Protection.

Regional Development Australia NorthernInland (RDANI) does not have an expression of interest or pre-approval process.没有预先获批流程，直接邮寄递交材料申请。
处理周期为 4 weeks（新新源移民）。
An Assessment Fee of AUD $770 (Inc GST)applies. Applicants living overseas are not required to pay GST, however due toincreased administrative costs in relation to such matters, the total paymentremains at AUD $770.
You are expected to relocate to the regionwithin 3 months of receiving your Visa Grant Notice.

基本都是医生护士类的职业，中国申请人可不关注。基本流程是邮件提交EOI（附简历、雅思、护照、职业评估），通过后，email方式或纸质邮寄方式提交全套申请资料（新新源移民）。
