Thisunit group includes managers who plan, organize, direct, control and evaluatethe operations of establishments in forestry and logging, mining and quarrying,oil and gas drilling, production and servicing operations, and commercialfishing.

--监督和分析林业、伐木、采矿、采石、或油气钻探、商业捕鱼，或和这些行业相关的服务的运营情况；

--向高层提出改善运营意见，确保满足生产指标和程序；

--和其他经理一起，设定生产指标，规划开采场地、制定去除原材料的政策；

--评估生产现场效率，确定人员、设备和技术使用适当，必要时对工作计划或设备做一些改变；

--确保遵从安全规定；

--可能管理外围业务，比如道路施工或临时居住住所；

Mainduties

Managers in natural resources production and fishing perform some or all of thefollowing duties:

Overseeand analyze operations in forestry, logging, mining, quarrying, or oil and gasoperations or in services to logging, mining and oil and gas industries, or incommercial fishing

Recommendoperational changes to senior management when necessary to ensure thatproduction quotas and procedures are met

Prepareproduction reports for review by senior management

Conferwith other managers to set production quotas, to plan extraction sites and todevelop policies for the removal of raw materials

Evaluateefficiency of production sites to determine adequacy of personnel, equipmentand technologies used, and make changes to work schedule or equipment whennecessary

Ensureadherence to safety regulations

Hirepersonnel and oversee training needs of staff

Maydirect peripheral activities such as the construction of access roads ortemporary living quarters.
